Golf Tournament

This tournament will have two shotguns starts on Friday July 13th, the 1st Shotgun start: 7:30am and the 2nd Shotgun: 1:00pm.  Each team will be designated a course and shotgun time for the outing.

  1. All players must be 21 years old to play in the API Tournament
  2. NO HARD SPIKES
  3. All players are allowed to tee off.
    -White Tee boxes at Eagle Ridge
    -#3 Tee Boxes at The Links of North Dakota
    -Women and persons over 65 can hit from the ladies tee-box except for the hole in one prize which will be from the men’s tee box.
  4. Each player must use 2 drives during the 18 holes.  One drive needs to be used for each player on the front nine and one drive on back nine
  5. You cannot follow your own shot. On holes where there is an individual prize for closest to the pin and the individual whose shot you used is eligible for that prize he or she may shoot for the prize but you cannot use the shot for subsequent play.
  6. All players can putt once you are on the green.  Any putt that lies within the le ngth of a standard putter (36 inches) is a gimme. You must count the gimme as a stroke.
  7. After you decide whose shot you will use, the subsequent shots must be within one club length, no closer to the hole (if you pick a shot in the rough, sand trap, or fairway your subsequent shot must come from the same medium ).  If you are not eligible to hit you are not allowed to take a practice shot to give your teammates a line, etc. If you are eligible to hit for a hole prize as the rule states above you must go last.
  8. The first ball in the hole counts as the team score.
  9. Please do not hold up play for cell phone calls.  The pace of play is crucial to the success of our tournament.
  10. All normal course rules apply.
  11. All golf carts are rented or borrowed please take care of them.
  12. We as a tournament depend on the use of these rented or borrowed carts and if in the future the owner will not let us use their cart because an individual is sloppy or careless, then it affects our ability to hold a quality tournament. We will be monitoring who uses what cart and the condition of the cart.
  13. If damage occurs to carts the Team Captain will be responsible for payment of repairs or damages to cart used by the team.
  14. Keep all golf carts out of all native grass areas, keep to fairways and light rough. Keep all carts on paths around tee boxes and greens
  15. No Mulligan’s
